While well written, "After Gabriel" has too much of an attitude and is overly grotesque. On top of this, everything is rushed and the main character has an airpocket where his brain was supposed to be.
Besides, Brewt should have waited until the 23d of December 2012 to post this story. Then again, if everything goes according to plan, we'd probably have no time reading it.
Or we all wind-up inside Brewt's scenario. In which case I'll have to revise my score, of course...
