The start of this here tale had me throwing myself back in my chair and bumping into the armoire behind me (chair has wheels), because it contains the most enormous anomaly in the history of modern humanity: to be ready in the lobby at 7:00PM, a shower is taken at 6:30PM... by a woman!! Showering, and then checking what clothes to wear? And be ready 30 minutes later? No way José, not even if she should jump out of the window of her hotel suite instead of walking.
But all kidding aside, and bar said anomaly, this is a well-written tale. Sometimes you get the feeling that the pace is too quick, but the way the story is presented, everything works-out fine.
Looking forward to more calligraphized ink-stains by Rachel's pen. Sorry bout the joke at the start (wink).
Oh, and could it be that English is not your primal language? Cuz there's quite a few 'mistakes' in the text.
