Absolutely superb: a straightforward scenario is lifted well above the average by top quality writing, a wonderful main character in Melissa, and a very finely handled emotional element. The exquisite humiliation of the narrator is even more intense due to his wife's tender cruelty. Brilliant. (10/10)
