This story is very well written with attention to detail, plot, and character development. What I enjoyed the most here was the time the author spent detailing not only the physical aspects of character interaction, but also the emotional reactions and intended effects and outcomes desired. It is rare to see an author truly able to grasp and communicate these types of interactions on this level. I would like to see a longer story built around these two characters with more opportunity to see the complexity of their bond through a variety of scenes and situations. (8/10)
